June 2016

June was a crazy month as we finished up a lot of things in Michigan and prepared to move to Kentucky. James and Ali finished up school, James finished up soccer, Hannah turned 3 and Kate started smiling.

James last day of school!

Ali's last day of school!

James had the best soccer coach ever- his dad!

Hannah loved her Doc Mcstuffin's birthday. Read all about it here.

We are loving this sweet little one, she makes us all smile!

Spending some time with friends before the move.

We said goodbye to our home in Macomb and prepared to move to Northern Kentucky. Take the grand tour of our home in Michigan here.

Hannah's 3rd Birthday

Hannah is 3 years old! One of Hannah's friends Hayden has the same birthday and she was turning 3 too so we did a joint birthday party. It was perfect because Hayden's mom just had baby twins and I have been busy with Kate and we are both getting ready to move. Both of our girls are big doc Mcstuffins fans and so it worked out great. We had a fun party and served a picnic style lunch, played doc mcstuffins games and enjoyed cake and presents. Hannah loved her special day and is already talking about next year.

Michigan Home

This is the home we almost bought but ended up only living in for a short year when we received word that Joe's company would be relocating us. We loved making this house are home even if it was for just a short period of time.

Welcome and here is the grand tour...

We searched and searched for a home in Michigan and put multiple offers on homes but nothing seemed to work out. We lived in a hotel for 2 months waiting to move into this home then ended up renting it. Knowing what we know now (we are moving to Kentucky next month) we feel really blessed and see that trail as a blessing.

Things we loved about this home:
~The open floor plan and the kitchen.
~The kitchen faucet (such a small thing but I loved this)
~Over the garage attic
~Laundry room right off the garage
~Having 3 finished floors (It really helped break up the noise)
~The backyard, we loved the patio, swingset, sandbox and that it was all fenced in
~I loved the landscaping, always something in bloom

Things we didn't like about this house:
~The garage was really tight for 2 cars (Joe usually parked out front)
~The dark basement, we called it the dungeon
~Small lot size, we felt like we were on top of our neighbors
~Dark hardwood (It showed everything)
