April 2015

We LOVE spring time! April was a beautiful month full of life and excitement. We celebrated Easter with our family in Logan. It was a bitter sweet visit because we realize that celebrating holidays and enjoying weekends with family is coming to an end as we get closer to moving to Michigan.

We enjoyed the annual Easter egg hunt and took lots of pictures with the blossoms.

James finished up Spring soccer, it has become his favorite sport.

We visited the curiosity museum!

Hannah found her new best friend!

We had the MBASA closing social and prepared to close the door to what has been a huge and amazing part of my life for the past 2 years.

Joe and I spent a few days in Michigan looking at homes. We looked at so many homes that both Joe and I said we never wanted to look at homes again. We put two offers on homes and thought we nailed down a place to live but found out a month later (after appraisal and inspection) that it wasn't going to work out.

Joe graduated with his MBA from BYU! More pictures here and here.

We enjoyed an amazing retreat with some MBA friends at a cabin near Park City!

I spent a day at Women's Conference with my mom and Aunt Debby.

MBA Pre-Graduation Shoot

We've made some amazing friendships over the past two years and it is hard to think that we will all be moving apart and heading into the real world in less than a month. We were really lucky to live in a cute little home only a few blocks from BYU, we were even luckier to have amazing friends who were also MBA students on our street and in our ward. I loved learning from these amazing friends and interacting with them and loved the friendships that our kids shared as well.

Somehow the girls (my friends and I) convinced our husbands to do a photo shoot a few days before graduation so that on graduation day we wouldn't be worried about it. I love the pictures we were able to capture and am glad we choose to do it because after graduation it was poring rain.

I am so proud of Joe and all of his hard work and sacrifice. He really put forth his best effort and truly enjoyed learning and growing while at BYU.

Soccer

James had a great season playing Rec Soccer, he played with other kindergartners who live in our area and had a lot of fun!

James is finally starting to show a little bit of his competitive side and scored a handful of times this season.

Dogs

To say that Hannah loves dogs would be a complete understatement. This girl is crazy about them and has so much love for them. I love watching her eyes as she runs to say hello and give them a hug...they truly dance. Over Easter weekend one of Hannah's cousins got a puppy and Hannah was thrilled, she wouldn't leave the poor pup alone. She has always loved Sam the dog (another cousins dog) but having both together in the same weekend was just to much for her:)

Easter

We had a fun Easter visiting family in Logan. We had fun with the annual Palmer Easter egg hunt and then headed to my parents house to find eggs hiding all around the house. This Easter was bitter sweet realizing that we won't be close to family this time next year.
