April 2014 Summary

Joe finished up his last day of his first year at BYU!! He has really enjoyed the MBA program and looks forward to his internship with AT&T in Dallas Texas this summer. April was a great month full of lots of fun outings. We did a lot of little day trips and enjoyed seeing and experiencing Provo.

We enjoyed watching General Conference!

The kids had a lot of fun playing in the rain and Ali loved puddle jumping in her new rain boots.

I spent a lot of time taking pictures and learning more about photography. I purchased 8 different backdrops and put my backdrop stand to use. I took a few pictures of my kiddos and did a few mini sessions.

We enjoyed spring time! I loved the blossoms and couldn't resist snapping some pictures of the kiddos.

The kids and I watched Angel Moroni be placed on the Provo City Center Temple!

The kids said goodbye to some of their friends and spent a lot of time playing.

We watched the sunset from the "Y" trail.

We spent a morning at Thanksgiving point at the Tulip Festival!

We walked the Bonneville Shore Line Trail, it is beautiful!

We went to Utah Lake.

We spent a lot of time at the park. I love this picture of Ali...this is her favorite way to dress.

Hannah found a new way to crawl.

The kids and I took a trip to Brian Head and had fun hanging out with my family.

We celebrated Easter with a trip to Logan and enjoyed visiting family.
More Easter details and pictures here.

My brother Devin returned from his mission, it was so fun to see him!
More airport pictures and details here.

Our nephew Colton received his mission call and will be spending 2 years in Calgary Canada.

Devin's Home

My brother Devin spent the past two years serving a mission in Ukraine. Ukraine is a special place for my family. My brother Brian served in Ukraine and my brothers Vitaliy and Spencer lived in an orphanage in Ukraine before they were adopted into our family.

Every time we saw a man in a suit start to descend down the escalator everybody would get excited. Devin finally came with a few other missionaries that he served with while he was in the MTC.

It was so fun to watch my kids get excited! This was Devin's first time meeting Hannah.

My brothers: Brian (served in Ukraine), Devin (just returned from Ukraine), Tyler (served in Russia) with his baby Luke.

Tyler meeting James (12 months), Bryan meeting Ali (11 months), and Devin meeting Hannah (11 months). I think it is neat that each of my brothers returned home from their missions when my kids were about the same age.

It's so fun to be together as a family.

Easter Weekend

We spent Easter weekend in Logan visiting our families. We spent Friday with my family. As soon as we got there the kids were handed Easter buckets and started finding eggs. They were super excited!!

Hannah found two eggs and was content to tap them together for the rest of the day.

Ali was happy with just a few eggs...she just wanted to see what was in them.

James went to town...he found tons of eggs and was super excited that he found the most.

We had fun dying eggs.

Hannah had fun with daddy.

We spent Saturday with Joe's family. All of Joe's siblings and a few of his cousins brought their kids for a big easter hunt.

Joe's Mom (Debby), Uncle (Ivan) and Aunt (Rhea)

Looking for Easter treats...

We stayed with Joe's parents and so did Joe's brother (Cory) along with his family. The kids all woke up and spent the morning looking for their Easter baskets. It was fun to watch the kids get excited together.
